Smells Like Science is turning one year old this month, and in honor of the anniversary I’ve decided to make some changes to the blog’s layout. I use WordPress to run the blog, and when I first started using the software last year I may have gone a little overboard with adding features that I don’t really need (kind of like when Powerpoint added lots of features in the late 90′s and everyone used the typewriter animation/sound effect on all of the text in their presentation just because they could.) Now that I have some experience with how the blog is used, I’m going to try to pare down the layout and just keep the features that are necessary. This means that the blog layout may get a little messy as I redo it over the next few days, so bear with me. I have some exciting posts that are actually about science in the works, so I hope you’ll check back in after the redesign is complete.

  1. I have been enjoying your blog. Keep up the good work!

  2. Really informative, look onward to coming back
